Noticeboard

Phone lines are open from 8:30 each morning (Mon-Fri) to book a phone consultation with a GP. These are subject to capacity and once full, only emergency calls will be taken. If you need to be seen face to face, you will be.

Appointments

The majority of GP surgeries are no longer accepting walk–in patients. To help reduce the spread of infection, please:

  • Ring the GP surgery on 028 90563397 from 8:30 am
  • You will be asked some questions by surgery staff to determine your condition. Some of these questions may include if you have a temperature or a cough.
  • You will receive a call back from the practice or be given other relevant advice.
  • If required you will be asked by the GP to attend the surgery or another location to be assessed. You may be asked to wear a facial mask. Staff seeing patients will also be wearing protective equipment e.g. masks, visors, aprons and gloves.

Preference for specific doctor

You have the right to choose the doctor you see and we will do our best to accommodate you at all times.

Emergencies

The doctors will endeavour to see genuine emergencies at the end of each surgery. If you have a serious problem such as severe chest pain, severe bleeding or you are having difficulty breathing please call an ambulance before phoning the surgery.

Phone consultations

The doctors are able to provide phone consultations. You can ring the main reception telephone number from 8:30am and leave your contact details and a doctor will ring you back as soon as it is possible. Once all the slots are used on a given day, only emergency calls will be taken.

Cancellations

Missed appointments (did not attend/DNAs) The practice requests that if you cannot attend an appointment that you phone us immediately preferably 24 hours in advance so the appointment can be given to someone else. We understand that it has been an oversight on your part, but on average there are 60 missed appointments per month. This equates to five surgeries per month.

Treatment room
